Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a fitting tribute to the country as the city radiates grandeur. The city contains various Imperial Palaces, including Hofburg Palace, which was formerly the palace for the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This history set the tone for the rest of the city and it has been carefully preserved by the Viennese.

Alongside stunning palaces, Vienna was also home to some of the most recognised musicians and composers in the world. From Mozart to Schubert, this city has been inspired by their work and will never tire of celebrating it. Experience the Opera. Vienna is famous for its Opera, so if you have time try and book a night out at the State Opera. There are also tours available to view the auditorium in the day time if you prefer.
View fine arts. If you would like a museum that caters for the history of art, Kunsthistorisches Museum is the perfect choice as it has collections from Rembrandt, Reubens and Titian. The museum is also a beautiful building and has an unmissable octagonal dome on the roof.
Discover the real taste of Vienna. This city has some wonderful cafes, so ensure that you put aside an afternoon to sit down and relax with a delicious coffee and pastry. The Viennese love coffee and so will you after one taste.
Tour the city at night. To experience another side of the city, there are tours which take place during the evening so that visitors can see the beautiful architecture in a whole new light.
See a show. If you would like an alternative to the opera, why not experience an Austrian show? These normally include dinner and are a fun way to discover old Austrian folk traditions.
