1. Explore the ancient- Sri Lanka boasts eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where you can dive into the country’s 2000 plus years of history and culture. Temples, caves and colonial fortresses are scattered across the landscape and are worth exploring- you are likely to see incredible wildlife too!
2. Hit the surf! Sri Lanka is renowned for its world-class waves, but also offers plenty of beginner friendly breaks to have a go or simply to swim in the waves.
3. Chill out of tropical beaches- Sri Lankan beaches are paradise. Think white sand, turquoise water and shores lined with palm trees.
4. Spot exotic wildlife: Delve into the jungle to discover tropical plants and some amazing animals- leopards in Yala Park and even walk with elephants! From April to December its possible to see killer and blue whales off the coast too
