New York JFK The city that never sleeps

Fly from Cardiff to New York with a one stop connection

New York is so spectacular that they named it twice! The city is home to some of the most exciting tourist attractions in the world, from the protecting presence of Lady Liberty to the breath-taking Empire State Building, all creating an unforgettable experience.

These landmarks also form an inspiring skyline that makes the perfect backdrop to everything New York has to offer. Spend your days wandering the streets of Manhattan, where you will find a variety of outstanding museums and that’s before the shopping! Or relax in Central Park, a place showcasing the secrets of every season.

It is a destination that has been described a thousand times, but nothing will prepare you for the magic of New York City.

  1. Feel on top of the world! Take the elevator to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building and see everything the city has to offer from the observation deck. Don’t forget your camera!
  2. Enjoy a night at the theatre. Head to Broadway to see a first-class show, but if you want to grab a bargain find a discount booth on Times Square and get your tickets on the day.
  3. Visit Museum Mile. This is where you will find some of New York’s magnificent museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of the City of New York.
  4. Find the Brooklyn Bridge. Once you have explored Lower Manhattan, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. If you catch the sunset, even better!
  5. Eat the world’s best cuisine. New York doesn’t just do great American food, head to Little Italy or Chinatown for even more delicious delights!

Catch the East River Ferry from Pier 11/Wall Street to Brooklyn Bridge Park. On the ferry you'll take in amazing views of Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan, these views are continued when you disembark at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Once finished taking in the views, take a short walk to Grimaldi's Pizza Restaurant for the best Pizza you'll ever taste, then after filling your face you can walk from Brooklyn back to Manhattan on the Brooklyn Bridge which is an amazing experience.
