Malaga is a large city in the Southern region of Andalucía and offers an array of culture. There is something for every tourist as the city has recently invested in a thriving cultural community. Now Malaga has over 30 museums, which is more than any other city in Andalucía.
This cultural reawakening occurred in 2003 when the Picasso Museum was opened, in honour of Pablo Picassso’s birthplace, Malaga. Now visitors from home and away roam the pedestrianized city centre to experience its historical excellence.
Although it thrives on culture, Malaga also has beautiful family-friendly beaches, stylish hotels and restaurants serving tasty tapas.
